I got one. Looks exactly the same, got the center depression both sides also. I found it in the same general area as a revolutionary war militia button. thought it was a coat weight but it doesnt support reason for depression. How about a kids spinning toy ?

Well that sounds good. I thought it might have been a small indian gorget or something but I guess its just an old button it is pretty heavy
