Nice looking plate.

My brother pulled one from a 1830's tavern site. We almost pitched it out as a piece of a ball mason lid when we seen the eagle on it. It was in really bad shape. But it was a plate. I'd love to find a whole one.

Thanks!!! No.. it was a private farm.. the top of it was at about 7".. but it was vertical in the groundwith a big iron hook an inch or so away from it.. but still.. good signal.. just proves there still out there.. keep swinging.. this is my 4th plate this year!! Way more then I thought!!! And every site I dug one from has been hunted hard!!

Thanks Man... no.. only 26 now I think ;-) BUT the years not over yet!!! Best year I have had since the late 90s!!! Gotta be happy about that!

I wish it was hooked!! but it does have a lot more iron then any of my other Eagle plates...
