I usually don't post any clad I find; but this time it was kinda interesting.
I went hunting the old fairgrounds again and found that the deck was being replaced
on the ball field food stand.
I was a little late as the main deck had already been torn down and replaced but the small
deck at the food counter was only partially finished.
I had my sons Compadre in the trunk and searched only between the joists as I have searched to
death all surrounding areas of the old deck.
I found a pretty good assortment:

Almost $6 in clad
1 Large Flat Button
1 old white musket ball
And 1 dog tag

Nothing great but a whole lotta coins in a very small area.
Just thought I'd share.

Radar...I kinda like seeing all the clad. I have hunted so many times and not even found clad. Bet that was a tough hunt.

honestly, I am impressed.. it all adds up and you sure did find alot for such a small area.

Hey SC,
Is that lipstick on a pig?
Looks a lot better than some "big-eared" pics I've seen lately if ya catch my drift. ;D

six bucks in clad is quite a bit, radar!

Good deal!

Have you seen that pic of a tesoro with a very shortened handle and 4" coil?
Might have been perfect for you...

I'd think a white musket ball is good. I'd also like to see a close up of it...Please.

Keep @ it and HH!!

Not a bad haul for such an area considering there had to be just as many pull tabs and bottle caps, LOL! The white musket ball sounds interesting, could be revolutionary. Seems like a musket ball needs about 200+ years to get a nice white patina and of course the soil plays a big role. You might consider getting out in the wooded area or whatever is around that stand, if possible. Could be some more old relics and such and considering where you are, would not be a big surprise. HH, Mike
