HELLO TREASURENET...

It has been 8 years since my last metal detecting post....however...I have still been pounding cellar holes and building my collection....Today I made it out to a site that I have known about for a long time on private property...I finally got proper permission and decided to do a little easter hunt. The walk in was grueling and the flies and ticks are in full force...I only had a short amount of time but quickly learned that my prospect site has not been pounded to death like 90% of the sites here in southern New England...In under an hr I had a few buttons a beaten New Jersey Copper and a escutcheon plate....my return trip should produce hopefully more quality... because the soil here is very wet and mucky. Its good to be back on the forum.

Well done. The sites are pounded up north too. We do our best find keepers, usually having to venture farther and farther out from the cellar.
