Was wondering if you guys can help me. I volunteer at a colonial home. I help with maintenance and yard work. After talking with some of my other volunteers they told me of an old outbuilding foundation and I checked it out today. It’s a stone foundation that only has 3 sides. Any ideas on what it can be? I was just given permission to detect the site as long as I donate my finds to the display they have setup in the main building.

could have been a bank barn where the top was barn board that now long gone. Just like in this photo. I had one on my property decades ago.

Sounds promising. The best of luck to you in your search.
Was out there today scratching around. No high tones but took some pics.

Stones look old but the cement looks relatively new. Also the spot if pretty trashy. What tones do you think I should dig with my Nox 609?
