I did a little investigation on this piece. Well, it seems it is a condom lid. They cost 50 cents which was alot in the 20th century when they were made, but they were made to be reused! ewwwwww! lol Note: at the bottom of the container are the names of the Widows. Agnes,Mabel, and Beckie. Makes you wonder what they passed away from! I thought youd like to see it. Sage

Wow!!! Very cool find. Looks like the condom may have had holes in it. :o ;D
I'm just glad to see the names Agnes,Mabel, and Beckie on the tin and not Chuck, John, and Harry. :tongue3: :wink:
As far as "reusable", I agree ewwwwwwwwwwwwww.
