🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Could this be river jade??

Hi! I was told this rock found on my river bank (PNW)looks like it may be jade. What do you think? Is there any way to confirm whether or not it is?
-attached some pics of it both dry and wet if that helps at all

PNW? is that a location? this could be any number of things including Chert or even a slag. See if it scratches with a nail or knife blade.

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. When I lived in Oregon, many rivers and streams had serpentine amongst the cobble. Most is not cutting quality, as much is either highly fractured or somewhat brittle.

Which river was it found near?
