Crap or Treasure?

Can anyone ID this one? Found in a 1900 dairy farm. I little bigger than a quarter. I would guess it is a Pin because of the metal soldered to the back. The Metal sticking up was folded down when I dug it at about 8 inches deep.

Looks like the "torch of knowledge" and it also looks like "collar brass" or a huge button... more to follow.
