Having endured the "Great Snowpocalypse of 2014,"
I ventured out today for needed errands.
Would have been GREAT camping weather!
The College has been closed all week and that will only put the semester behind and require hard work to catch up.
I stopped by the Animal shelter to see Julie and had bought some Pounce cat treats,
a 3-pack of paper towels, took a stack of newspapers, a bagful of plastic grocery bags and an old tennis ball for a puppy to play with.
Julie wasn't there.
I had taken my camera for pictures, but decided to just leave the supplies at the front desk.
I will start saving up bags and newspapers for a return visit later.

One quick story of a Steve Miller concert at Sandstone Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kansas,
with my passed sweetheart Carol.
Must have been what?
Back in early 2000?
I scored front row tickets from a fellow whom I was doing remodeling work for when I lived in Lawrence, Kansas.
My Sweetie and I rode my "road beast" motorcycle to the concert that evening, maybe 30-35 miles.
With a motorcycle, parking is easier.
Anyway, the venue was a beautiful Spring evening and I had brought my tape recorder and camera, and was able to record a tape.
The pictures didn't turn out too well...
(pre-video cameras)
About mid-way through the concert,
We were working our way to the beer vendors when Carol bumped a guy with 6-7 beers in a carry tray.
He spilled a great deal, and, beer being $8 a cup,
I figured that he'd be pretty pissed.
I immediately told Carol to keep walking and I'd deal with it.
Well, Buddy WAS pissed and I figured that it was on.
I can deal with it regardless of where it goes.
"Ain't no roadmap, let's see where this goes...."
I apologized profusely and offered to buy him a couple of fresh full beers and the situation immediately de-escalated.
I made good my promise, found my Sweetie, and we enjoyed the rest of the concert.

Charlie Daniels and Little Feat.
Hank came out too drunk to play, cursed the audience and exited.
Little Feat took up the slack and Charlie finished strong!
