Well,
Just took my Geology Final.
Before starting,
The Instructor stated that in her 5 years of teaching at UNG, THIS has been her favorite class.
I believe the sentiment to have been heartfelt.
Then, someone suggested a class picture.
So, a randomly passing Teaching Assistant was found in the hallway to take the picture.
If anyone is interested,

The final was brutal.....
50 questions, each worth 2 points.
And 8 extra credit questions covering the Student Presentations.
Yes, a question from my Presentation was one....
Thursday is my Math Final and,
THAT is the one that I'm worried about.....

I just sent an email to Sonja at Disability Resources,
to confirm my attendance at the Board Meeting next Tuesday.
I'm beginning to think they may want more input on location of parts...
I really am not sure....
I think that before I started volunteering, Sonja had to try to keep equipment in useable condition.
Lord knows that she is already taxed with office duties and personal contacts with the Clients.....

I feel prepared for my adventure in the mountains, having packed and re-packed my ruck 2-3 times.
I really haven't given much thought to itinerary yet....
I just want to be there.
Then, spontaneity will dictate....
I plan on taking my Math final Thursday morning, come home, mow, blow and weed-eat the lawn,
pack up the gear and
"Head For The Hills!"
Be back maybe Monday morning.
However....
Remember that safe deposit box that was supposed to be opened?
I HOPE that it isn't on Friday.
Monday?
Not as bad.

Tuesday afternoon,
after the board meeting.
But,
I have no idea how long the meeting will last,
and I didn't want to ask Sonja and appear to be "inconvenienced"....

Certainly,
When I breathe a full lungful of Mountain air,
It will have the sweet aroma of success.
And soon,
the smell of twigs aflame in a fire ring that will lead to a hot pot of coffee and dinner,
will fill the air;
Thin columns of wispy smoke,
signaling my return to Paradise.
