GIB that's great babysitting technique. I like it. JG I just watched a tv show that tested possible blood from a corner of a blanket that supposedly Lincoln had lay on after he was shot. The DNA proved inconclusive, but this quote ran across the tv so I liked it. Anyone thinking I am old enough to have heard what Lincoln may have said ( my kids) are wrong.......for the record, nor am I a 1000 year old vampire!

As I was noticing the lawn in need of cutting,
I noticed that my tomato plants (3), after having done well for a week or so, now are limp and possibly dying.

I think I know why.
And it's indirectly my fault.....

I have about 5-6 little "ground squirrels" who call my front door patio area "Home."

My fault is that I've been buying sunflower seeds and placing them out, a little bit at a time, for the last couple of years.

I think they finally burrowed under the bed where I planted my tomatoes and have chewed the roots.

I want to keep them coming around, but I don't want them chewing roots.

Any suggestions?
