I will be watching Hunter and Kirstin till their folks and Jacob get back from Dr. in the city and I also volunteer at the EOC so if it gets bad I'll be there working!

Got a few more pics to down load from day 2 ! Can't wait to see everyones pics. I have not taken any of our finds yet but I will before I give Jacobs back to him!

Well, I've lived in the heart of tornado country all my life except when I didn't. And as common as they are, I've never even seen one! They usually occur at night and it's pitch black and raining cats and dogs. You couldn't see one if it was on top of you most likely. But you can darn sure hear it. I heard one go over airborne one night while camping on a lake and I thought it was a big jet plane flying low. Next morning the radio said a tornado went over us an hit the ground about a mile away. But I actually think it's been too cold the past few days for the tornados to form. It's still in the mid 50s here this morning and a twister is usually right behind a cold front that hits hot air and forms. Say, we could have had one there in Caldwell! It was warm when I got there with all the hot air from the gang and then it got cold at night! Guess we were just lucky? I believe it you live where it's quite warm and the front is heading your way, you'd better watch out though. Monty

Wow...things not looking good for Oklahoma and witchita Kansas area right now...Talked to Rickj and Albert earlier and they said the storm chasers were lined up as they went through....stay safe everyone

They are predicting alot of tornados and now placing warnings for Northern Oklahoma and into Missouri .... tornado on ground in Witchita county

Weather radio went off with a tornado watch alert and Tammy (daugher) just text they were going thru Perry on way to OKC an the Natl. weatnher service and Vortex 2 were on the Hgw, an as thew passed the HIE there the whole parking lot is full of weather channel people !

I was also thinking that I sure hope someone took pictures of the guys cooking Mothers Day breakfast..... :)

All of you were smart getting out of here. I went out side and you can feel that mother nature is going to kick butt tonight.

Say does anybody know what happen to the wires for cooking hot dogs? I borrowed them from a friend. I can't find them.

I hope to be in Kansas when this storm blows over. Lots of tornados expected. OK we just got hit with golf ball size hail. Tornado 5 miles south of us. So far we are OK. It was light compared to others.

Stay safe....I picked up the hot dog wires and stood them against the fence where the firepit was...thats where they were when I left

Thanks Gypsy I found them in my trunk. Sun shining at this time. Waiting for the next to build up later tonight. I will get my lasso out to ride the next one.

Say a prayer or two for my daughter in Norman Oklahoma. They were hit by tornado but not a direct hit. They are OK but scared to death. The house across the street is gone. I hope no one was home. They are out surveying the damage to there house. The fence is gone on there property. Poor kids are scared. Let you know more when I here more.
