Not for sure what this is, I found the pieces pictured under about half a foot of dirt on my property, and found some other ones, one really large one along side the creek that runs on my property, its transparent in some areas giving off a green glow as see in pics, looked at a piece under a microscope, attached photo of that as well.

Let me know if you guys got any clue on what it is, thanks again.

I was going to say that you would be hard-pressed to find slag glass the size of a softball, so it must be something else. However, in looking at the bottom left pic, it appears that there are air bubbles showing through with the light behind the specimen. If that is the case, then it is just glass but if those are inclusions and carbon inside the specimen, then it is not glass. If they are inclusions and carbon and since you live in East Tennessee like me, then take them to U.T.'s Geology Department for analysis.

The only other green glassy stone with that type coloring I can think of is moldavite. (did I spell that right?)
I love those stones. I know they're in S Ga., don't know about Tenn.
A friend has a GIANT green slag glass, big as half a loaf of bread, weighs about 15lbs.
