In fact, I'm so good at embarrassing myself that I recently put myself on mood stabilizers!
No joke for an anti-pill purist!
However, my wife's last seizure during my absence from here, almost caused pure anarchy!
She ran out of both of her seizure meds.
Didn't tell me. Wouldn't matter, I can't afford them.
Regardless, she had a brutal seizure. Almost four full minutes of convulsions.
So unaware during the EMT visit that they transported her to the hospital against both of our wishes.
During postictal state, she is.. it's horrible to see my wife so scared!
I had to go outside to make a phone call from in the ER.
When I returned, all hell broke loose in my mind!
They had my wife restrained in mental health restraints and I flashbacked into my own memories of that during childhood.
Almost got shot by hospital police.
I'm not proud of my behavior, but flashbacks ain't no joke!
F that hospital.
Yeah, I'm not much good to my wife if I'm dead or in jail.
That's about it.
That's me!
At the limit.
But,
God made me tough as nails for a reason.
Jesus is my reason for everything.
He keeps me going when I would rather bury my head in the sand!
He lifts me up by humbling me in knowing that things could be worse..if I allow it!
All of us are in control of our own happiness.
Being satisfied and content makes happiness an easier goal..I just have to figure it out.
Great passage!
The hard part is telling the difference between wants and needs. Because people don't know the difference, their minds make their wants their needs.
I cannot find some information that my wife needs that I either cannot find nor have access to.
I'm hoping one of the many doctors who treasure hunt see this.
My wife begs in saying this, what and or why does she get complete amnesia from a day before a seizure and upwards of a week after ?
Please, if anyone can explain why this happens, you'll remove a mountain of stress!
All i could find that mentioned
Memory loss, was "Cognitive fog". Mentioned sudden memory loss. Had something to do with the number of lesions in the brain.
Heres the site: www.healthline.com
Also mentioned "Transient epileptic amnesia (TEA)"
But not sure if thats the same as sudden memory loss.
Mike, hope you can find the answers you need. If you ever need to just talk, I'm always willing to listen. Someone else listens: Acts 17:27, 28
To "grope for" implies putting forth effort to find something, and yet "he is not far off from each one of us.". Always liked the way that paragraph as a whole reads.
Have you ever searched for something, and find something that is not what you expected ?
I was searching YouTube a few weeks ago, looking for suicide prevention help.
I found a Man who is very passionate about suicide awareness.
I watch his dedication every day now.
