All of my half dollar veins are tapped out! I still pick up whatever loose and CWRs that I can find. I am finding 3-4 40%ers a month.

My new goal is 2-3 dime boxes a day, 6 days a week. Hopefully I will find 15-20 silver dimes a week.

So far:
Sunday
Box #1 - 2 FDRs
Box #2 - 3 FDRs
Monday
Box #1 skunk
Box #2 1 FDR
Tuesday
Box #1 4 FDRs and 1x1968 Canadian (50% Ag)
Box #2 1 FDR
Box #3 1 Merc (1944)
Wed
Box #1 skunk
Box #2 skunk
Thurs
Box #1 shunk
Box #2 2 FDRs
Box #3 shunk

Totals: 14 US silver dimes and one 50% Canadian dime

That's a hell of cwr . I am starting to think I threw back my 39 PDS nickel set. Got a 39p this weekend and thought it was a 59p after further inspection I realized I might have tossed a few awesome keepers back into the wild.

Wow, congrats on your first '50D! That's a great find....any even better that its in AU condition!

Plus u found a silver nickel and a '38 nickel and a lot of dimes too - u did have a major day of finds!

Seems like a lot of great nickel finds lately. Maybe I can find one soon myself too lol.

Major congratulations on the 50D, that is superb! Your dimes were awesome, too. Great day, one for the books!

Friday
Dimes
Box #1: skunk
Box #2: 1951S, 1953D
Box #3: skunk

Nickel Box: 1936D Buff, 1939, 1944P, 1950, 1951S

Totals for week ending 3/29/14
13 silver dimes (all FDRs) from 8.2 boxes
4 war nickels from 3.2 boxes
1.2 oz of silver for $1.50

Looks like another pretty good week and another good nickel box. Actually u had a great week with nickels. The '50D was a great find and as u know is worth more than all the silver nickels u found this week. Btw, I bet u were a little excited at first when u saw another '50 nickel in your last box lol.

I'm less than halfway through a nickel box I got Friday for the wknd and so far my box is similar to your Friday box - I've found a '36 buffalo, '39(P) ender, and a '45D. Its kinda nice having a good nickel box after all my lousy half boxes lately. And if I can find another buffalo or silver that would be a great box for me.

There is not much difference between a 5 and a 3 in old Jefferson nickels.
Any Jeffeson nickel that you think is a 1958 or 1959, deserves a closer look.

you are doing really well with dimes, and i would like to do alot more dimes, because i like the merc dimes, and its real easy to get boxes, but the problem seems to be dumping, the first time i did dimes, i rerolled, and that was a time consuming task, and i did 2 boxes this past friday, found 1 1960 rosi, and dumped it at in a coin counter and it counted 34 dimes as cents... may i ask what is your preferred method? i would really like to put more boxes of dimes in my hunt, but the dumping is not really worth it, thanks

I do 100$ at a time probably twice a week. And I find that if you dump them slow into the coin counter machine it has less errors.
