All of my half dollar veins are tapped out! I still pick up whatever loose and CWRs that I can find. I am finding 3-4 40%ers a month.

My new goal is 2-3 dime boxes a day, 6 days a week. Hopefully I will find 15-20 silver dimes a week.

So far:
Sunday
Box #1 - 2 FDRs
Box #2 - 3 FDRs
Monday
Box #1 skunk
Box #2 1 FDR
Tuesday
Box #1 4 FDRs and 1x1968 Canadian (50% Ag)
Box #2 1 FDR
Box #3 1 Merc (1944)
Wed
Box #1 skunk
Box #2 skunk
Thurs
Box #1 shunk
Box #2 2 FDRs
Box #3 shunk

Totals: 14 US silver dimes and one 50% Canadian dime

Congrats MIhunter for your steadfast pursuit of the silver dime - I sure do like finding those pre-67 Canadians silver though, my favorites, been a while for me.

I am having some doubts about continuing.
Yields have been low

I have been doing more nickels, but that is really not the answer.
It takes me 4x the time to search a box of nickels.
I consider a box a skunk if I don't find at least one of the following:
V, Buff, War, key/semikey (1938DS, 1939DS, 1950D), or Canadian KG V or KG VI
I mostly find one of the above (usually a war nickel or Buff)
but there is certainly more silver in dime boxes!

Wednesday - no coins

Dimes are bad around me... both brinks and dunbar. Ive searched 25-30 boxes with 90% skunks. One box had 4, and there were two other boxes with 1 each. Dunbar halves are worse (100 boxes with 10 total coins found). Both brinks and dunbar nickels have given up almost 1 war and 1 buff each box. Its sad when the majority of your silver found is in nickels!

Glad to see that your fine boxes are producing again! Your boxes always seem to be consistent, so it is demoralizing to see you get skunks.

What an awesome score. I asked this before but do you just ask do you have any dimes that are cwr?

I always ask for any halves they have.

There are certain bank branches that I have found get a lot of CWR in, more than they need.
They are very happy to sell it to me. Otherwise they would have to pay Brinks/Loomis/Garda to take it away, count it and re-roll it.

Some branches, I don't bother and just order/ask for boxes
