I wasn't paying attention. I figured it to be Kansas or Iowa.
Must be eastern WA. Is it?
Many years ago I was fooling around with a girl in Federal Way WA , near Tacoma.

Yes, Eastern Washington, where it NEVER rains, the ground is like cement. On the Seattle side the ground is like soup, makes for easy digging. No shovel needed, just reach in & feel around for the coin! But aleast they get to detect year round over there.
