It's almost like you've been reading these dowsing forums for 25 years! That's what they've all said: the tests are rigged. I go to great lengths to develop protocols that test exactly what the dowsers claim they can do, and make sure they are comfortable with the protocols ahead of time. With dowsing a golf ball, the first thing I would ask is what range of distance can they can locate the golf ball. A dowser who refuses to answer such a simple question probably knows they cannot possibly succeed in even the most basic test, which means they probably understand dowsing more than they'd like to admit. The reasons why i know dowsers fail in "tests" are in another thread, but i can just say it one sentence, its all rigged invalid experiments
Disdain for real science is common with dowsers, especially those who like to make up alternative (fake) science to explain what they think they are doing. It's all easily testable, but that gets back to the fundamental trait with dowsers: the utter inability to objectively investigate their own claims.as there is nothing to win in playing by the same rules of the 3 million humans complying and obeying theoretical scriptures.
I am personally quite proud of my knowledge of science and my ability to use it to design products that actually work. For almost 500 years science has proven itself to be the most reliable way to understand the universe around us and how it works. It is overwhelmingly superior to the methods preferred by dowsers: superstition, belief, guessing, and just making things up.
