Finally found one of these intact. I've got lots of pieces I've found over time. No coins but this made my day! :icon_thumleft:

I'll have to go back to the site with a smaller coil. Loaded with deteriorating tin cans.

Nice gold rush buckle!

Very nice gold rush era tongue. If I had a choice of finding a tongue or the wreath portion, it would be the tongue. Perhaps you will soon be reuniting the two. Well done

Awesome!!!! Congrats!!!!

Wow, that thing is beautiful, nice find!!

Awesome find and in great shape! Congrats! Yep, get back out there and find the rest of the buckle and don't forget to check them deteriorating tin cans for Gold nuggets and check for Gold all around where they are at. Old Prospectors had a tendency to store their' Gold in tin cans which they often buried.

awesomeness like crazy! congrats

That’s a nice piece of history you saved. Congrats

Outstanding buckle, congrats on the save

My first thoughts exactly , If you would have asked me 8 years ago why would such a buckle be on OR , I'd have NO! idea.

Thanks T-NET
