Ebay Listing Accountability Thread

Good to know!

A few new bids and sales... Up to 23 sales and 3 items with bids. Barely hanging onto the 2/day.... but happy with it!

Awesome scores at the thrift store yesterday. 10 hats (one red man tobacco one sells for $30+), 2 uranium glasses (keeping for my collection), presidential helicopter squad pilsner glass (should get $40+ for it... seems rare), and 12 great shirts. Good golf ones and 2 RL big pony polo shirts. Also a bag of jewelry. with a good mix. little silver, no gold, but some nice costume or fashion pieces.

Can't wait to list them!

Sold one today. If you guys go to public auctions, look for silverware. Whether silver plated, or stainless, I have done pretty good on it. It is a good thing to use to pay for your gas, and still turn a decent profit on.

Just received an offer for $15.51 for the sprinkler. I countered at $19.50 so we will see. Lol!

I don't get why people do random offers like $15.51. I got one the other day that was $15.76 or something like that. Why not just put $15.50 or $16? Got an auction on Friday I will probably go to and a yard sale tomorrow with fishing tackle. We'll see what happens.

I wonder if they think they gain a psychological edge using random numbers like $15.51?

I haven't had any strange offers like that... but it does sound weird.

Sold a shirt last night for $21 shipped. Paid 0.83 for it in a lot at a yard sale. I wear 3 of the 6 shirts I got and love them- I would have been happy paying the $5 for those three... but selling this extra one more than paid for all 6

Listed 4 or 5 items yesterday too

:laughing7: Probably so.

Nothing at the yard sale this morning. Maybe I can get some stuff tomorrow.

Nice job on the shirts Justin. I don't buy/sell clothes. Maybe I should start.

They can't all be winners. It killed me last weekend. I had to ferry my boy around and drove by many HUGE yard sales and had no time to stop.[emoji36]

Thanks

Everyone who says it is an over saturated market is 100% right... but there are a lot of buyers too. If you start with shirts you like and fit you, you can't go wrong. If I am on the edge, whether or not it fits me is the deciding factor.

I like selling other items way better and plan to list more other items, but clothing is easier for me to find pretty much any time. 4/5 times I go to a thrift store, I dont get anything else and it would be frustrating if I didnt do clothes. Even when I do, it is only a glass or mug most times. Flea markets and yard sales are good to me, but really only 1 or 2 days a week, maximum, weather dependent and only a few months a year.

I have only done a few pairs of pants so far. My heart just isn't into clothes. I'm sure I'll do more but its just not exciting to me. But I know there can be good money in it!

That's kind of how I am on the clothes. I don't have any interest in buying/selling them. However, there are some boring things that I sell also. Personally, I think a bunch of the silverware I sell is boring. :laughing7: Sold one today. It was a lot of truck parts that had been setting for a LONG time.

Up to 26 sold and 4 with bids... so 30 at the halfway mark in AUG.

Sold a Boyz N The Hood hat for $20 shipped last night. Paid $1.79 (more than my normal $1/per hat... but worth it).

Been listing every day for almost two weeks now. Up to over 160 listings!

You too? Lol I sold a interior pillar trim piece I had listed for months yesterday.

I also sold the sprinkler for $19.50
pretty good for no money invested! Lol!

Justin, you are doing very well! Did you guys get the 9999 free auction listings? For some reason I had to click a button and opt in. :icon_scratch:

DieselRam, I have more parts that have been sitting for a while. Maybe they will pick up and sell. I bet you have some others that you would like to sell also. :laughing7: Nice job on the sprinkler too by the way!

Thanks!

Yup, I got that as well. I've had to opt in to others in the past as well. Not sure why on some and not on others.
I needed it too- only had a few left of my 100 free ones for the month.

Yeah, I really need to get some stuff on while that is available. Wish it was buy it nows, but I'm not complaining.

Lol! Yup I have some that are listed and many that are not. I think I'll try to buy some more stuff this weekend as well.

Yeah, I need to pile stuff up for the winter when there are no auctions or yard sales.

Listed 2 items today. 13 sales this month. Sales slowing a bit. Hoping for a big weekend. HH
