Ebay Listing Accountability Thread

Another slower weekend compared to the opening two.
A few auctions ended that already had bids plus a few more and 2 BIN

Up to 32 sales now.

167 items listed last I looked.

I spent 10 hours sorting and organizing GW jewelry bags by type, quality, signed items, gold/silver.
Actually found some gold this time. Lots of smaller pieces and clasps, but also of note 4.2 gram hook earrings that were 14k. Paid for more than 3 of the 8 or 9 bags I got! Finally, some luck with them :)

Good! Your doing better than me for sure! I've been too busy to focus to much on eBay, but Sept should allow me more free time.

Yeah, you are doing way better than me. I shipped 4 today though. Keep it up!

Listed 1, got 2 more to list. Sold one today, and have one with a bid ending tomorrow.

A few more listed last night.

Sold a red man chewing tobacco trucker hat for $40 shipped. Paid 1.79.
Pretty happy with that one. Probably $30 profit after fees and shipping

Sold another silverware lot today. Silverware is good right now.

35 Sales, 39 including items with bids. 10 days for me to get 11 sales for my goal of 50. If I am a few short, I'll could the guy who bought 4 visors as 4 sales and not one... haha!

Listed a lot last night- last day of the free promo. I have 15 of my original 100 to use in the next 10 days. 181 total listings now... almost double my average listings for the last few months-- very happy with the fact I wasn't lazy haha

Silverware is something I haven't learned yet... except of course hallmarks and foreign % marks.
Need to learn it though!

Crazy day so far. 1 sale and 4 bids just in today!

Basically, I buy all silverware that I can get cheap. I like to go to the public auctions and get cardboard flats of it for $5 or so. Silver plated normally sells fast, but I sale basically anything. Stainless USA sales pretty good, along with just plain stainless. Normally I get $1 or $0.50 per piece, and throw it in big lots. This last lot I bought had some kind of expensive spoon that I have listed for 10 by itself, and it has watchers. I sold a big lot of 40 pieces or so of Japan that was all the same pattern for $31, and I cleared right at $20.00 off of it. Split it up into lots of 15-50 pieces and it will sell. You may sit on some of it for a while, but it will sell, normally pretty fast. This site is actually what got me started on it. :laughing7: It isn't the most exciting thing, but it can help make a profit.

I have sold 19 so far with a box of random electrical cords selling today. Almost at 1 per day again.

Thanks for the info! I have passed up buying silver ware in the past as I had no idea. From now on if I can buy it cheap I'll buy all I can get. Thanks!!

Hey all, :hello:
I can't believe I missed this thread. :BangHead: It may just be because I haven't been bothering with ebay much lately. :protest:
I list things on Etsy, is that close enough to Ebay, to get in to the club here? :icon_scratch:
I've been listing some stuffs today, too. :laughing7:

I say etsy is close enough. Your welcome anytime, anywhere. Good to have you on board[emoji106]

Yeah, Etsy is close enough. Welcome!

Sold a lot of lures today.

Thanks a lot guys! It's always nice to be included. This is a great thread to keep folks motivated to list items. When I first saw it, I thought it was about our integrity rating on Ebay, LOL! I figured I got over 300, 100% feedback, so I wasn't worried about that. LOL!
Yeah, the places the cat-brain goes....... :tard: :tongue3: :laughing7:
It'll take me a little while to catch up reading 30 something pages, so........ :laughing7:
Ya'll all have a great day! Thanks again.

First day in two weeks I didn't list anything was yesterday.

But I packed up 3-4 things and organized a lot of items (mostly jewelry) to be photographed/listed.

Ended yesterday with 7 (I think) bids/sales in 1 day. Last one was a $25 RL polo shirt I paid 4.49 for.

Justin, you are doing excellent! I've got a bunch of lures I need to be listing.

Quick question. Does anyone know the minimum age for opening an eBay and PayPal account? My son wants his own but he is only ten. Of course I would be strictly supervising this endeavor.

You need to be 18 to be in a binding agreement, which is pretty much the concept of what eBay is... so I would say 18.
Otherwise, no sale is actually a binding contract. Not that people take that seriously (non paying buyers!!)
