Ebay Listing Accountability Thread

bought some more board games at the local thrift
finally sold a couple of things that I got at an auction
off to another thrift tomorrow
amazon is still fnckin with me about verification
I registered as a business and my addresses were all over the place because I registered my business
4 years ago and I've moved around quite a bit so amazon is asking me to get all that in order
so we'll see...

Yeah, I've never messed with Amazon. I've sold a few, I'm at 11 for November.

Sold one this weekend. I love getting rid of slow movers!

Ended 80 bin. relisted them all auction, mostly .99 start with No reserve. Sterling, coins and some gold. Listed 18 more on top of that. Need to take advantage of this holiday! And to move some stuff out of this room! Lol

had some old magazines from the 90's listed as auction - 24€
I just got a bid from someone with (0) feedback

I've already sold some motorcycle revues from the 80's to a couple of people with (0) feedback w/no problem

right know I've been waiting for someone to pay on an offer I accepted a week ago.. his feedback is (100+) 100%
not sure what to do about this one

if I open a case and force him to pay maybe they will give me back bad feedback

I can't really afford bad feedback right now ... just started accumulating feedback for little over a month now - 100% so far

I am pretty sure they are blocked from leaving feedback as soon as you open the case, but it may be after you end it. You may look on the order details page and see if you can find a phone number for them.

Just sold another slow mover. Not a big item but it's sold!

well, i finally listed ONE thing, old haynes manual for ford tranny rebuild. one watcher, not a lot but now its free to me since i've had it for 20 years LOL.

Last night before I went to bed I noticed I still had about 85 free listings for the month of November. So I ended all of my buy it now's and relisted the them all about five minutes before midnight so that today everything would be listed as a new listing. Seems to work pretty well I have sold eight things so far today for a total of $150.

And then I threw a gold coin online just seeing what people would offer for it and I didn't really want to sell it but somebody bought it anyways so...I guess who doesn't need $450 right? ... I figured I would get offers around $300 for it....

Listed 13 new BINs today, most productive eBay day in quite a while (as far as selling goes anyway lol). Sold a large .925 jewelry lot @ 80 cents/gram and a lot of random US militaria over the weekend to one buyer who I'm assuming is a dealer, not that that's a problem. Definitely still some meat on the bone for them and I cleared out some stuff I was tired of looking at and made $150, which I consider a win-win. Made one small sale today.

Also as alluded to above, have had some great luck with strategic eBay purchases lately. Just in the last month from 3 different sellers I picked up a 6g 18k chain with a small 14k charm on it for less than $5 shipped (listed as costume), a 10k chain and pendant (2.2g total) for $4 shipped (also listed as costume), and a 14k and jade or jadeite hinged bangle bracelet for $30 shipped (an extremely lucky BIN score). Turned a handsome profit on some sterling and small gold acquired for a bit under melt during the same time period but the $400-500 return ($170 realized so far) on the three buys mentioned still has me kinda buzzed.

A little while back I sold a lot of computer fans that had been on there for probably 2 years. I was really proud, and then I had to open an unpaid item case on it. The lot is still on eBay today. :BangHead:

That really sucks!

I bought a floor medallion yesterday and won it for almost nothing. Hasn't been shipped yet but now I notice the exact listing up on eBay again for $10.00 more. I'm getting a little nervous of this one. He had over a hundred feedbacks and at 100% so I am going to give it the day and see if it ships...any thoughts?

Update: just was marked shipped. I assume he had two??

Yeah, he probably had 2. We can hope at least. :sadsmiley: I got a bid on a slow toy lot. It'll probably be cancelled! :laughing7: Sold another one today as well.

someone just won a bid that has (0) feedback - whoopee
I still have an unpaid for a crap board game I got at a thrift store for 1€
so I finally opened a case to see what happens

I finally got excepted to Amazon Seller Central
it took a month with all the papers they needed
also I signed up as a professional seller
I'm going for the FBA only
so I'm looking at about a $40 per month charge

so I need to get my sh!t in gear
I'm going to prepare my 1st box to ship out
to the Fulfillment Center here in France

I see alot of the pickers on youtube
moving over to FBA so I've been studying non-stop
for weeks now ...

I got the Profit-Bandit app yesterday too
it's really great

I took a chance before I got the app and bought a bunch of
new mangas and a matrix trilogy from a local overstock place
... I scanned them yesterday and most are profit of between 8€-20€+

so that's a good start...

here's one

Profit bandit- I'm going to check that out right now. As far as the 0 feedback goes everyone starts there...it probably will be a good transaction.

you need to be a signed up on Amazons Seller Central and activate the professional option to use Profit-Bandit
also you need to take into consideration the sales rank of the item you scan
sometimes you have an item that has a lower sales rank only because it has just sold which causes a temporary spike in rank
but maybe this item only sells like once a month
you will see this in the app through the link "camelcamelcamel" which tracks sales on amazon items

here is two examples of 2 different items the spikes are sales
the top graph shows about 12 sales in the last 18 month or so
the bottom graph show a whole sh!t load of sales

so you can use "camelcamelcamel" to help you decide if you buy or not

I'm still learning

I see, is there an app like that for eBay?
