So, I bought a mess of pennies and a mess of nickels, and I found my first enders today! The Wheatie was a 1940-D and the Buffalo was a 1934 with a nice, clear date! :headbang:

Last roll in an otherwise dull box, definitely got my heart going. 1927 P. Couple of other enders I managed to take pictures of.

That's an awesome ender. You definitely don't see that everyday. Nice find!

BB,

the barber or seated dime ender might be the best! was that a crazy box with a merc ender too?

It was a barber dime. 1913 I believe. It was 100 years old when I found it. The merc was from a different box, I was out on a bank run picking up multiple boxes at the time and those were the enders from the whole batch.

20160229_161010-1.jpg Turned out to be a 1947 King George. The box also has a 55' wheat obverse ender but I didn't snag a pic of that. 16 wheats in the box total with only one being from before 1940; a 1923 no mm.

Very excited to get a couple of "fenders" after a very dry February of only 7-keepers. Each roll had an additional 40%er.
