Sounded like a 1990's cell phone ring tone.

It never lost connection.

Never had this happen before.

Maybe 3-4 time in a hour, lasted just a few seconds. Batteries were charged.

I haven't hunted with it since but I plan on giving it a good charge and see if it still happens.

Anyone else ever experience this?

Thanks

I haven't heard of this one before. I have quite a few friend with that unit. If it persists give Minelab a call.

I experience this when the control box gets too close to my phone which I keep in my pocket.

The headphones could be making a ‘pairing’ sound.

Turn off Bluetooth in cellphone. And turn off and turn back on headphones and detector

Put phone on Airplane mode

I've had the occasional ring tone sounds in my Nox 800 too. As you mentioned with yours, it only last a few seconds and then goes away. It doesn't seem to effect the machines operation, so, I just ignore it and press on.
