Dude, you have way too much fun! I'm still jealous of that ground you dig in. by now you have to store your buttons in a foot locker. crazy cool detecting as always. Jerry

Awesome hunt calabash...congrats brother

Thanks guys!

Button glutton. Lol.

so you got rid of the 6 inch coil, I take it that it didn't work out too well for your style of relic hunting. Too much iron falsing?

I might buy another... falsed on iron. Might need to some time with it

you have the 800, may have to find a sweet spot with the Iron Bias and Recovery speed. I would hope that the 800 would be easier to figure out how to get the best out of the 6" coil. I do understand the frustration of iron falsing especially lots of it. I am still considering (someday) to get the 6 for the weight difference but only if it still does a decent job. not digging some iron is just a dream, it happens to everyone but sometimes it is a good thing.

Yeah I didn't spend a whole lot of time with the 6 to be fair, some love it.

Calabash......what settings were you using? Thanks.

Nice hunt, congratulations! :occasion14:

Calabash......what settings were you using? Thanks.

PARK 2,IRON BIAS 1, RECOVERY 6,5 TONES, 1,15, 20,22,25 ARE THE TONE BIN PITCHS. 1, 25,25,25,25 ARE THE BIN VOLUMES. Makes everything above iron really sound off.

Calabash do you ever go 5 or even 4 when hunting? I see you mostly hunt in 6 just wondering why? I brain often say go deeper go deeper am I missing something?

I respect your opinions and watch and learn a lot from you. You are appreciated here.

You know I have been thinking about that a lot. The 15 inch coil will be ran at 5. Im gonna do some testing on masking to see how much difference there is from 5 to 6. I like the longer tones of 4 and 5 back im always around some iron. That the reason I have stayed with 6.

I stay in 5 and when I feel froggy I’ll put it in “turbo” and pop it in that 4 lol.
But it seems like everywhere I go there’s iron nails. Nails where flying like crazy down here I guess.

Do you modify any of your numbers like 1-11, 12-13, 14-16, 17-40 or you you live it stock?
