if not going to water hunt would anyone go from etrac to equinox
 
In iron infested sites, yes. Especially along chain link fences and steel reinforced concrete walls. If I'm looking for small gold or platinum I would use the Nox over the Etrac too. I find the Nox is a bit more stable in wet salt water sand also, not that the Etrac won't work, it's just a bit less chatty with the Nox.
 
I would also. Nox is lighter to swing and nails targets.
 
If you do go with the EQ you might want to go with the 800 if at all possible. It's worth the extra $ with the wireless and all the tone options/adjustability.
