Looking to build a Travel Shaft for my Excal from a piece of Marine Grade Aluminum tubing.
Question: Where can I find a "connector" that I can use to connect the two pieces together and disconnect when breaking the unit down for stowage? Looking for one that will fit inside the tubing with the push button aluminum spring clips. Thanks

pic3 Obn.jpg Years ago when travel shafts were not around I went to goodwill and got two canes for 10 dollars and made a travel shaft. I used the cane shafts for several years..see if I can find a picture...they broke down into 3 pieces if I remember correct.

Thanks Joe. Just used some old parts (2 spring clips/6" piece of Carbon Fiber and 30 minutes time) laying around the shop and came up with this...
