I'm on face book because my kids wanted me on there, kept nagging until I joined. Don't use it much, read stuff on it from time to time, and the kids have stopped using it, either that or they unfriended me because I was finding out they were doing stuff I didn't approve of. I get messages that someone wants to be my friend, or I might know someone that knows someone that might know me. Who cares? Leave me alone. I've probably posted 3 times in five years, ignored most friend requests -- but on the plus side, there is a fellow that posts beautiful, almost impossible pictures of wildlife, on Face Book, other than that, and spying on kids and grand kids, I don't see much use for it. I don't take pictures with my phone, and don't want any apps, or touch screen, although I think texting on the phone is handy, that's about as techie as I'm going to get.

My wife lives on Facebook. My FB account closed years ago!!! I watch the Shinning, Full Metal Jacket, Thunderheart and Mississippi Burning once a week (Drives the kids nuts)! NASCAR on Sundays and the NFL season is around the corner! This is my only internet group I need and belong to. Wish metal detecting was a full time job! Maybe I need to apply at a University or something and start up a program?

I refuse. So far I have avoided watching any episode of "Survivor", using an ATM, or participation in Facebook or Twitter.

These have become my life goals.

I'm guilty of using ATM's I don't like writing checks
most of the time I make errors writing checks because I do it so little,
I forget how.

I wont use a self check out at walmart, unless they guarantee me a 20% discount.
.... not my job....
even with 1 item, I'd rather stand in line and wait behind 20 people with full shopping carts in front of me.

I pay my bills online, But Hate I have to log in with a password.
what are they afraid of ? someone else paying my Bill ?
registration always bugs me.

online I delete Cookies, delete Cached Content ,
and do a disk Cleanup, no less then 8 times a day.
Probably closer to every hour.

& immediately after I pay each bill

I always use ATM cards, I write maybe 2 checks a year if that many. I use online banking and make weekly recurring automatic payments on all bills except house and car which are set up on recurring automatic monthly payments.

By doing it this way I never have to sit down and pay bills which I always hated, bills are always paid and a side effect of doing it this way I discovered is it caused my credit score to shoot up over 830.

I have not been on in four years or so, I joined around 2010 or something. Last year I tried to log on and it looks like due to inactivity they deleted my account. I don't like Facebook much, to many people posting pointless stuff from their personal life.

I originally began using it to find old friends / classmates. That kinda thing.
But when all the political crap and all the little "cliques" began forming I left.

I am VERY open in my voicing of my distain for things,, and I guess FB couldn't handle it.
I was "reported" a few times,, meh,, I could care less.

NOW,, I am getting emails that I have been "missed" and I should "come back".
Pffft,,, No thanks

Not to get too political, but "Big Brother" is already collecting without Facebook. All your emails, websites you visit, telephone calls in and out, gps on your phone, even your TV all collect data on us already..

When ever I search certain things within 10 minutes all I see are the Ads for whatever I searched.
