Tried my luck at a park today, dug a few '40s wheats there. On the way home, I knocked on the door of a farmhouse I've had my eye on.
Asked the nice elderly lady if I could scan the yard. "Sure," she says, but you won't find anything!"
The only thing I didn't find were newer coins. Wheaties poppin out left and right, seven of 'em, dates ranging from the teens thru '20s to the '50s.
Last two coins I dug were indians, 1880 and 1909 (no S, darn it!)
Also dug the weird foreign coin, I have no clue what it is, may look it up later. FFD

That's a pretty nice haul and IH's are always good (so are Wheaties these days for that matter)

I wish I had a dollar for every time a landowner told me, "Go ahead, but I don't think you'll find anything"!

Your foreign coin is from Israel....It's a 1 Agora and they were minted between 1960 and 1980 (or between 5720 and 5740 by the Hebrew Calendar!)
