Finally...A Ring! (does a kids play ring count?)

Desertvet · Nov 17, 2011

Finally found me a ring! Okay, so it's a kids play ring...but hey, it's my first, so go easy on me!

Gotta love city parks, searching the slides area... Happy hunting to you all! :icon_thumleft:

Sure it counts! If you can find the "fake" rings, you'll find the "real" ones, too! I have a big "fake" ring collection!

Of course it counts!

Terry Soloman · Nov 19, 2011

Wooo-Hooo! :headbang:

Congrats on your first ring! Many, many more! :hello2:

ANTIQUARIAN · Nov 19, 2011

You're going to dig far more 'fake' rings and jewellery then you will the real stuff while you hunt.
I've found a lot of very cool junk jewellery this year, sometimes it's almost as nice to find as the
real stuff! :laughing7:

Just wait till you find a real gold or silver ring . . . it'll be that much sweeter when it's real!

Best of luck to you Desertvet,
Dave

my first was a play ring, so I gave it to a little girl at the beach. my next one was a white gold beauty that I almost threw away. your pump is primed my friend, now comes the goodies.

DrJoePrime · Nov 19, 2011

Hey Congrats! :hello2:

It's a START! When you find "any" ring it's a nice jolt of adrenaline for continuing.

Thank you, Joe... I hope my next one is a gold or silver one! :headbang:

What really bugged me was that it was on it's side so when I dug down, all I could see was an edge and thought it was my first silver coin. I was shocked when I pulled it out and saw that thing, almost like it was laughing at me LOL $:-\$
