"FINALLY" A Standing Liberty Quarter

Left work today and went out to search an old homesite next to a friends house. Only had about two hours to work the site. In twenty years of detecting, that SLQ has always evaded me. Today my friends, that madness stopped. I finally dug my first SLQ with a 1918 date. I also dug a few other silvers and some indians. Here is what I pulled today. ;D

1918 Standing Quarter
1918 Merc Dime
1908 Barber Dime
1896 IH
1903 IH
1910 V-Nickel

Congratulations on the SLQ, she sure is a beauty! Also nice looking other finds! My first one was a 1917 Type 1 in about that shape, that was one of the few coins I sold when I was a kid, wish I still had it today.

Thanks for the photo ,
You have to admit this is the best eagle they have put on a coin in a long time.
I do like the walker half but it is nowhere near as good as this.

Oh, BTW I'll bet a close EF 40 on the back as well.
If you don't try to hide the scuff on the edge it will go VF35+ overall.

Incredible to find any dug coin in that shape, let alone a SLQ. Congrats, that baby is sweet.
