Finally back to my "banner" site. 2 half cents, kgIII, over 20 buttons and more!!!

Had an awesome day at a permission I gained in January that had some spectacular finds that also landed me a banner. This will probably be my last hunt for a while. Heat wave coming through and also tall grass. Ended up with over 20 buttons, a capped bust 1806 half cent( a first ), an 1804 draped bust half cent, a king George the 3rd, a huge skeleton key and an awesome lead or pewter piece that has what looks like a man in a boat or canoe.

What a fun, fun hunt this was on a beautiful day! Thanks for looking!

Fantastic hunt there…would love a day like that! Still no neck clasp for me...

Man oh man! Neck Stock Buckle is a fantastic find! Don't see many of those dug at all! And all those buttons and the last half cent you showed is a great coin! Congrats!

WOW !! Awesome finds! Love that old cooper and buttons. That skeleton key is awesome, congrats !!

That was a productive, well rounded hunt Matt. A lot of buttons some coins and some other relics you don't see too often like the War of 1812 era neck stock buckle, the watch winder and that BIG A$$ key!

Thanks guys. The finds have been pretty spot on, date range, since the property was established in 1812. The KGIII was kinda a surprise since the earlies coin I found was the 1787 NJ Copper.
