Dug up this Kirk yesterday. Absolutely the finest of this type I've ever found. It's quite large compared to others I've found and if you look close you can tell why. Don't know if the image will show it but the attempts at resharpening this piece resulted in stacks and hinges that apparently couldn't be worked out....lucky me! I poked a hole in my finger when I reached in to pull it out of my pocket, tip is needle sharp.

That is perfect! The material looks like it would be difficult to knap. Nice find.

Hey 1320!! CONGRATS!! Really Gorgeous Point!! MERRY CHRISTMAS and GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!

Super sweet, got to watch those needle tips!

That is a spectacular find. Good thing they didn't poison their tips.

hey hey

WOWEE that IS a SHARP one!

That is an amazing find. Thanks for sharing and good luck in future digs.

To find a point with a tip that perfect is rare. Any idea what grade this point would get in Overstreet's book?

Classic. The steps just add to the character. They obviously were not bothered by them and turned out as you say a fine specimen. Amazing stone age tool. Congrats and Merry Christmas 1320

Awesome find. That thing has a super needle tip. A lot of times the Neuberger type, here in the midwest, often has the same sort of tip.

Hippy

That point is awesome, a smoker indeed... keep digging, I always look forward to your finds.
Thanks for sharing it.

By far the best one I've seen! Pristine point and large size! Did you make it yourself? If not, FANTASTIC!!!

Its a beaut for sure

''Hot Diggity Dog''! That sure is a beauty. :icon_thumleft:
