Finally found an old coin (my 1st V nickel).

I like to come here often because it is interesting and ispires me to get out and hunt as well. Anyhoo, to this find's story. I was up on a hillside by an old stone foundation and figured I would possibly find something cool around there. First target was the firing cap on a very old shotgun shell. About a foot from that got another sketchy signal and wasn't thinking much of it and that if anything it would be another shotgun cap and out pops a really old coin. Pretty exciting, since I am so used to it being modern crap usually ,so when I saw the date I was freaking happy as can be. Makes me wonder just how many times I have passed over good coins and items thinking it was just more junk. When in doubt, dig and find, you never know what might pop up. Haha. Thanks for all the inspiration guys!!! This is my first post so I don't even know how to put up pics yet. Maybe later.
