if you got an mxt for fifties bucks I would say you got a smoke-n deal a lot of people will up grade to some than better and have better finds to prove it...

The mxt is a somkin machine but for 50 bucks that 3300 is a smokin deal and the 3300 is a great machine they are actually quite deep

It actually is a pretty deep seeker. I detected a rock at home, about the size of a 50 cent piece with a small strip of iron(rust and magnetic) in it, and it was a good foot deep. Funny thing is our home was built in 2008, and was nothing but woods since before 1854. Also this rock was found nowhere near the construction site. Hmmmm..... Happy Hunting!

Bounty hunters are awesome detectors,Im a first texas teknetics guy but ive swung more than a few bounty hunters,They are good machines for starting out and can find you some really good things.Best of luck with your new found hobby.

thx I got a legacy 2500 still getting used to it. I was using a non-motion detector before. It is alot harder to pinpoint a target.

I just got my fisher pinpoint handheld md. Before I got it I was using one I bought from harbor freight. I paid basically 70 for the fisher and 16 for the cheapo. The cheap one I have already exchanged because of the on-off button failed. But the cheapo actually detects better.? ? anyone have input

Is there a sensitivity adjust? there should be i think otherwise pony up the extra cash and buy the garret i love mine.
