FINALLY!!! Haven't found anything silver for a looooong time. Been doin' school and then hurt my thumb playing golie so haven't got out hardly any this month. Finally got out for a 45 min. spin and found this silver bracelet, 76 cents, junk, and a button. First beep a dime, second.... SILVER!!! I took A2coins advise and detected a sledding hill. Thanks A2!!! You were right!!! The other bling was from a little playground down the street, I think the locket is cool.

And a nice chunk of silver at that ! Congrats on your finds.

Well actually its very small... hardly fits me. Must have been a kid's bracelet. Still is awesome though. I want to go back for more... I'm drooling now!!! JK

Working great!!! Took me awhile to get used to the buttons because they are a little stiff from being old. But works great! Thanks a million again. Took my grandparents with me... they were lucky to see me find something worthwhile. Been awhile since I found something other than coins and junk. Boy I was surprised to find silver sittin on the ground on the second beep!!! Thanks for the advice. Went for 45 mins. and found that silver, button, honking nails I'll use to pick my teeth (just kidding), and 76 cents. Pretty good for a short time. My sister and grandpa laughed and my eagerness... the ground was hard and I hacked away like there wasn't a second to spare!!! Lol that's pretty much the way I do it always... but when you find something good you always work a little quicker. P.s. my grandfather thought it was neat and nice of you to give me the pointer.

Tommy is absolutely right,in fact...anywhere people were running, falling, being physically active...that’s where clasps fail, coins jump out of clothing, chains get snagged on something or pulled off by the actions of others...and these places will ALWAYS produce something. The main place I would consider(as a COIN HUNTER) would be somewhere that people carried money for the purpose of completing a TRANSACTION...for example,BUYING something. Old fairgrounds, ball fields, very old school grounds(kids are notorious for losing money and lost lunch money regularly) etc. This detecting thing is a self perpetuating monster,so be careful!....:laughing7:
