Hey guys, sorry, I know I have just dropped off the radar here the last few weeks, we've had a lot going on. Well, lets start with my find, I had a box last night ( outta 4 boxes) that had this lone 1970 in it! I have been looking for this coin for over a year now and gone through hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of boxes and here it is!

Here are some pics of this weeks finds too, I did 24 boxes this week, not stellar results, but this is how it has been the last few weeks, about 90% of my boxes are skunks ( and some repacks showed up too:BangHead:) and the boxes that do have some aren't very much. This week was 19 40's and 8 90's out of 24 boxes, the Franklin ender box only had 6 Bens and 3 40's in it ( kinda a let down for 3 Benders).

The shot gun, well, I found a local gun store here that the guy would trade Silver at, so I got this brand new ( Bad ass) "Mosberge 590 Special Purpose Mariner Edition" 12 gauge) for 150 40's ( which equates out to 75.00 in face value for the coins) he gave me $3.50 a piece, those of you who know about guns know what this is, holds 8 +1 rounds of 2 3/4 inch shells and 7+1 of 3 inch shells, bad ass home defense set up here.

Ok, now for the crappy part of life here, my brother in law ( who lives in the house right next door) works for me, well he hasn't been feeling so good the last couple of weeks and about 2 weeks ago his stomach began to swell and destend, we keeped telling him to go to the Dr. and get looked at, well he finally went a week later and was told to go to the hospital for cat scan of his stomach and liver, he tried to wait till the next day to go and we ended up physically dragging him in my truck and took him to the hospital kicking and screaming. So, he has lumps and noduals all on his liver and they say it is also suroses ( spelling), so things are not good here right now, and we may have to be preparing for the worst ( we are not ready to endure what is coming), we are hoping for the best though, modern technology and medicine and stuff have come a long way.

So, now you guys kinda know whats been going on here, it has been a lot to deal with, my son has the flue now too, Dr. gave him Tama flue Script yesterday and he has been in bed miserable for over a day now.

I haven't really been able to keep up on everyone here so I may have missed some great finds, sorry, I hope you all are doing well. I do still log in every night or 2 to check my messages and skim the site real qwik so don't be a stranger, I'll respond to your PM.
Ok guys ( and gals, sorry "Apush", I wouldn't forget about you) I got a bunch of stuff to do now, I'll check in later tonight.
Take care everyone and HH, Maverick.

Oh yeah, forgot... had a model 590, parkerized, ghost ring sights, bayonet lug, 8+1.... suh-wheet! Never fired it, sold it for wedding money. Only gun I've ever sold, #4 on the buy list!

nice finds! Love the bens !

Great post, and a great deal on that gun. Nice work. Tell your brother-in-law to hang in there. I'll put in a good word for him with the man upstairs.

Thanks Otl. I appreciate that! HH, Maverick.

RUSH! That was a bit of a trip there, lol. Very nice gun you sold there, I don't have any pics of it in my computer but, I sold a 72 Camaro for my wedding and house money, you got off easy, lol! Nice to see you post. HH, Maverick.

Hey Buddy.. Sorry to hear about your brother in law.. I hope he becomes healthy once again.. Glad to see you found some silver though... Love the 70D

Hey AdDicted, thanks. Ya, the 70 was a huge surpize, I ran over to my wife while she was on the computer and showed her, she said " Ahh, the elusive 1970, you finally got one, so are you going to quit now?" Lol. HH, Maverick.

Yes I did, I will have to send payment tomorrow, but I haven't forgotten! I haven't even had a chance to open it yet!

Don't worry, I'm in no rush, take your time buddy.

Hey Mav, I'll say a prayer for your BIL. My dad died of the same, though that was 20 years ago and medical science has evolved by leaps and bounds since then, so keep the faith. On a lighter note, your Mossgerg is oh so sweet! I'm getting ready to pull the trigger (pun intended) on picking up a 590A1 for home protection myself--they are top of the line as far as I'm concerned. (And if and when the government comes for it, I'll be happy to introduce them.) And nice job on the purchase price. It sounds like you both got what you were looking for.

Hang in there and HH.

Hey Bad Wolf, thanks, it is much appreciated. Yes, I have been wanting one for a while now, most devastating gun you can put to your shoulder for home defense. Right place, right time kinda thing for me, I was happy with the deal. HH, Maverick.

Hopefully I'll get around to it tomorrow! I'll try to put your in the mail in the morning, if not, I'll get it coming to you on Monday!

Guns are for, well to by. 590 =#1 PULL back hard on the slide into your shoulder. when you touch it off, It will reduce felt recoil and it will cycle so fast it will make your head spin. .22 of a second. an auto will top out at around .17 of a second. Now is my tidbit of info worth a 1970? CONGRATS. three years of looking now

Yes good to see you posting Mav. Hope all will be well with your brother in law and hope your son gets over the flu soon.
Some very nice silver there! Cool rolls and great pics as usual.
Oh and what a nice shotgun you got there.
Good luck with everything you have going on and in finding more keepers!
