Finally!!

Ok so I shattered My heal Feb 4th, and with My cast finally off and a sore foot I was able to swing the new 15” coil that I got for My Equinox at an old Civil War Camp site. Got to swing for an hour and 15 minutes before My foot was telling Me to get off of it. Did pretty good I thought. Only 1 bullet was 8”, the others were closer to 12”. Great to get a hunt in! You did well for a short hunt. I love the teardrop bullets. The Equinox sure loves lead and brass. I really like the big coil myself for open fields, it is a great relic set up.

Congrats! Nice bullets. I agree, the 15in coil is a lead magnet. Mine rings a 19-20 deep and I know it’s a bullet. Hope that heel gets better!

Did I say ouch I think I did oooouuuuuchh Makes me think about when we were young and the dentist nurses two of em carrying in that big harpoon which was supposed to be for the pain THAT WAS THE PAIN I think I would rather take that torture which you paid for REALLY. Than a shattered Heel one more time ooooouuch

Tommy, actually when it happened was the most that it hurt. Made me scream like a little girl for about 3 minutes with pain shooting up My calf and fire and needles at my heal. After that and until now, it’s just felt like a severe bruise. Very blessed that the bone didn’t shift or I would have had to have surgery. But all that aside, I’ve been so ready to detect, in my mind. I actually shouldn’t have went out on it looking for bullets. Almost couldn’t walk when I got done. I’ll stay off of it for a couple more weeks until I see the Doctor. Happy Hunting Everyone!!!!!
