Finds from Vacation in Warrens WI

OK all...in the spirit of sharing, here are my meager finds from our vacation to Camp Jellystone in Warrens Wisconsin. We were there for 7 days and I got out five times for about 2 to 4 hours each outing. I limited my hunts to sand beaches, volleyball courts and tot lots. I did find a ring..but it's not much of a ring.

The cool things I found were two gaming tokens for the resort and an AA token with the serenity prayer on it.

Being that I was on a beach that was teeming with people, I thought I would find a ton of clad. I was wrong. I only ended up with $6.74 despite the fact I put in a lot of time. I was hoping I would find more, but have learned that this endeavor requires a lot of patience and an occasional payoff. I found out later that someone else was detecting there during my stay. She had an older detector, but obviously was making a dent in my haul. I guess I cut her take down a little too. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Whoops...forgot to add that I did find a 1952 Wheat penny and a (gold?) earring too. In total I located 106 coins.

my parks soccer fields and school have dried up, I find very little anymore.

Those are cool finds. I love the boom truck and the tokens, still haven't managed to find one token. Maybe next week when I am on vacation.

Yeah, the Pepsi token was really cool. I don't think that one was being made anymore as the vending token machines didn't dispense that one anymore.

Mastereagle...hang in there. If you find coins, you will find tokens. It's location only. Good luck on your vacation. You have found some nice things lately.

Thanks all! Jack, that's what I am always holding out for...at least a lot of coins. I found 106 this time, but lot's of pennies.

Dman..I did have fun! Like they say...I rather be detecting than....

skydiv..If your parks have dried up, wait for them to re-seed and sniff around elsewhere. That is what I have had to do back home.

The hunts are always a thrill. I wish sometimes though that I didn't have to do so much cleaning too. ::)

I found the token on the beach at Jellystone Park in Warrens Wisconsin. It was right close to the surface in the sand. It hadn't been there long.

What Baldingboy isn't telling you is that you he brought back a pickup truck full of pulltabs and pop tops! I have seen them and I have the pictures he should be ashamed of looting WI like that.
