I managed to get a 1865 2 cent piece, neat gold pin that's dated but I have no idea what it signifies, a 41d wheat and some other odds and ends. The 2 cent piece read like a pull tab and was down about 4 inches, once I got it out it read like a cent, I think it was laying in the ground at an angle, and the gold pin gave a nice gold reading and was only down about 2 inches. The spot I've been hunting lately is city property where 3 old houses once were and it looks like they killed off all the vegetation last year or the year before so it makes detecting nice, I'll probably be heading back there today.

Sweet finds, Giant! Excellent 2-center. Do you think the picture on the 1910 gold pin could be a school logo? Looks like a capital "S" with two smaller "h's" and something else. :icon_scratch:

Keep digging!

Fabulous finds man! I really like the gold pin, too. AMC

Great stuff. Looks like typical old home finds. That 14k gold pin is super cool. Great find.
