Great relic!!!Hope you fill that bucket this year. I got about 10 buckets hope I can drop something in it this year.. Well done!!!!

I found a Slave Tag a few weeks ago and now this Block R on Sunday. I really hope the incredible finds continue but knowing my luck, I'll only find a bunch of Union buttons and my digging buddies will find the good stuff. This R was dug less than two feet and five minutes from where my buddy dug a NY Cuff button and a GS Union Eagle Button. It's insane how sometimes you swing over a bucket lister and your buddy just missed it. It's also insane to think about what happened right there about 150 years ago. A rare Confederate button found right next to a union NY button. Did they shoot at each other? Was there hand to hand combat? This was found right near a fort and a battery; This is why I love this hobby so much. And we haven't even touched the rest of the permission where the slave cabins, general store, tavern or blacksmith shop were.

Awesome find! BIG CONGRATS! :icon_thumleft:
