Went out today with my good buddy Richard from Backwoods detectors here in East TN. We spent about 6 hours swinging the coils. He came away with j hook and several pistol balls and a harmonica reed. Here are the pics from my finds. First find for me was pistol ball and what I think may be end of a large knife or saber. I then found what appears to be a part of a buckle of some sort.. Another mystery pieces is the larger on that almost looks like butt piece of a rifle. My last 2 finds were the harmonica reed and finally my first union button. I think it is general issue cuff button. Looks like 2 piece and has the shank intact. If you have any ideas on the mystery items let me know.
