First gold and X-Mas rocks

Hit a beach I havent been to before, Ben T Davis Beach which is 10 mins from downtown Tampa.
Seems like it has been hit hard as I only found 9 cents in clad after 3 1/2 hours of hunting.
BUT.. found my very first gold! small earring marked M14K.

Had alot of "rocks" I dug up that were setting my detector off..after tossing several I broke the edge off of one and got a little present inside and kept the rest I found...

I'll let everyone take a wild guess what was in the rock pictured and show what it was later

The correct guesser gets 20 rusty bottle caps from a warm florida beach.

Well it looks to be "GOLD"
Diggs has guessed a ( key ) and only half right.
I'm not sure what a num is.
But i'm going to guess that is
a senior high school key from a neckless.
Nice finds Tho.

It did look gold until i busted the rock up and the cheap plating came off.
It may have belonged to a senior in high school...:shrug:
