First Gold Coin?

Long time no see TNet! Hope everyone is doing well.
So, I was out practicing my social distancing at a new site this morning using my equinox 600. Ended the morning with a handful of clad, a pouch full of beer cans, and what might be my first gold coin. I say “might be” because I’ve never seen one that looks like this, which leads me to believe that it’s not.

Anyone recognize what it could be?

Looks like a gold coin to me, wow! Congrats! I would love to see the other side of the coin as well

Pic of the other side would confirm it’s a fake, IMO

Both sides are posted and are nearly identical, which is why I’m suspicious of it being a fake!

FWIW, here's something very similar that was on eBay: 1874 Dated Plated U.S. Gold Coin Design w/Eagle Token Medal

From the pics, it appears to be the same design (with very slight differences) on both sides:

That’s it!! Now it makes sense why the coin registered as a solid 21 on my equinox! Thanks for hunting that down.
