I was at the beach hunting and a lady came up to me to ask if the machine I had was a metal detector. I said yes and she said there was a guy in her condo complex frantically searching for a lost wedding ring last evening. She said he had been raking the sand playground for an hour then gave up and left a sign. I decided to go up there and give it a whirl and it took about one minute. I called him and he came running down. It was at least 12g to 15g solid band. He was really thrilled and insisted in giving me $80. He was my first platinum ring find ever. The rest of the trip was a bust no other rings.
