Hey everyone,

Been awhile since I last posted. About 4 or 5 weeks ago when I found the diamond ring is when I last posted. I have been really busy working.

I haven't even had alot of net time. Or time to hunt either. But I've been squeazing a few hrs in here and there when ever I can. I had more days to hunt.

But I've found myself on those days just to beat up from work to go out and do it like I do. I hunt hard and walk far. So if I'm not up for it I just relax.

Makes me mad but I am younge so time I have. Now back to how I found everything. Bare with me though. I just got a digital camera and I am not a pro on it yet.

The scanner I can use well. But the camera is gonna take me some more time. I gave you all a 50/50 ratio of pics. Half scanned half digital cam.

It would be hard to say were I got everything. So I'll tell you all what I've been doing. I've been going around as of lately to old foundation sites I've been seeing around.

I don't have pics of all the foundations. But I found a really old site. Actually a town abandoned. I found over 30 different foundations in one set of woods.

2 Bad parts were this. Bums were actually living in them. We saw one while we were detecting. Second is there is more garbage there than any site I've ever hunted.

We were only able to pull out one shield nickle and a few wheats. I found though a really nice old blue bottle from the 1800's. I was pretty happy about it. Lots of bottles in this area. I'm thinking about raking out a few foundations at a time and then hitting them. I know there has to be some seated coins.

I've been mostly just picking up a few old coins here and there at various sites. Hit a few old houses that gave me a few mercs. One was actually folded in half. I bent it back out.

Feel free to ask me any questions that you have about the finds. I'll list some dates and totals at the end here.

Wheats 14
Indians 2 1905 and a 1903
1 old W.F M.C 5 cent market token
3 mercs 1918 1944 and a bent 1936
1 1943 P war nickle
1 1899 V- Nickle

Hope you all like the pics and time spent on it.

HH Jeremy

Thanks alot everyone.

This site is a treasure hunters dream and nightmare at the same time. I've been eyeing up about 5 to 10 old foundations along the same rd.

I finally said it's time to go check them out. I know of alot of sites you guys. I mean alot of them. I had no idea once I got up into the woods I was gonna find another 20 some strutures maybe more.

But the trash is really bad. Like I said though. In about 2 hrs we still pulled a few wheats and a 1867 shield nickle. Man a need some more hunters that would like to clear it out with me and hunt it.

These are all 1800's era foundations. I think there is some good stuff to find here. There is alot of old bottles to be found also. I got that great old 1800's root beer bottle there.

Mirage, Congrats on getting those 4 first. That is awesome man. And well deserved. I knew it was just a matter of time for you. I agree that you need to be in a group if your hunting bad sites like those.

Thanks for the idea Lonewolf. I thought at first it may have been the Pennsylvania state seal but it wasn't. I think were on the right track though.
