First really old score for me!

Popped this one up today, I thought it was a dime when it first came up and didn't realize until I emptied my pouch and started cleaning what it was.
First really old score for me, I don't collect foreign coins and don't really know anything about this one but I was happy as heck regardless

oui its french --- second empire -- on the front it says REPUBIC (OF) FRANCE -- its equal to 1/2 a franc - on back -50 centimes ( see the dot after cent ---50 cent.) --1872 AND THE MOTTO IS LIBERTY , EQUALITY AND FRATERNITY * ( *BASICALLY BROTHERHOOD OF MANKIND --IE GET ALLONG WITH EACH OTHER) -- it does look like a barber dime a great deal -- its kinda small -- the good news its old and its silver I do believe.if my memory is correct. Thanks, it was about 7 inches down, and below another target (can slaw) I had filled the hole back, picked up my detector and turned around to start walking when it started going off on me again when the coil went over the plug. Goes to show it pays to recheck your holes
