My first few short hunts of the year netted me

12 Wheat cents from 1914 through to the 1950's
2 Indians a 1901 and a 1902 both in fairly nice shape
1 1920 Mercury dime
1 1902 V Nickel
1 clad dime
a toy tractor
a piece of a ring

I'd say that with 16 of the 17 coins dug being keepers from a hammered spot that it was a pretty good hunt and my year is off to a good start.

Here are a few pics and video. Thanks for watching and HH!

Very nice and those coins are in good shape

Good stuff!

Really nice finds, the merc, the nickle, that's a good haul.

Thanks to all for the comments. Yeah...the coins are in pretty decent shape I thought.

I like the V. Those are one of my favorite coins to find.

A nice well-rounded hunt !! :icon_thumright:

Nice finds!!

Thanks for the comments. I probably should have gotten clearer pics of the Indians though they still look good. Hope the weather warms up soon. I think it's supposed to be almost 50 Monday but here in Ohio that is always subject to change.
