Yesterday I was checking out an old home place that had been bulldozed recently... I found a lot of junk at first, after I got used to the sounds of solder and slaw(new Vaquero)... it took me about 25 min to find my first coin of the day, a 1929d wheatie... well that got me excited but had only 2 hours to md, I started to descriminate out pull tabs but kept thing well might find some jewelry so kept it right below a nickel.. Found several neat things like a round ball (.45?), razor and a ?barlow knife handle?

Well the superbowl was going to start in 30 mins so I said the next target will be the last I dig for the day...man am i glad I waited on one more....

Well I'll let you know I found this half dime at 7 and 1/2 inches...the depth astounded me cause I heard people having trouble past 5 on a hd.. well, the Vaq never lost the target and kept humming...I was sure it was a coin but didn't have any idea I would find a coin 50 years older than the state I am in and even older than the Civil War...
needless to say I am happy...
