First Silver

I was going through a roll of halves last night and found a 1944 Half Crown. It's 50% silver and the actual silver content is .2273. It's worth about $8.25 at melt. My first silver since I started CRHing. I'm jazzed! I'll put it with my 1951 G 5 Mark piece. It's 62.5% silver.

Wouldn't a half crown fall off your head ? Seems to me the other half would be important. Cheers, nice find, JP
